George William Carpenter was born Sept. 1, 1915 to Dwight and Pearl L. Chaffen Carpenter. He died Nov. 11, 1994 and is buried in Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN.
Pvt. Carpenter served in World War II with the U.S. Army.
