John L. Carmichael was born Oct. 13, 1915 to William F. and Lillian Beatrice Aldrich Carmichael. He died Aug. 29, 1944 and is buried in the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Honolulu, Hawaii.
Flight Officer Carmichael served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 425th Bomb Squadron and was KIA in Yochow, China.
