Lawrence George Carmany was born June 5, 1922 to Dewey and Tena Barta Carmany. He died Feb. 3, 2001, and is buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Plymouth, IA.
Sgt. Carmany served his country in World War II with the U.S. Army in Africa and Sicily.
