Mrs. Paul V. Carlson, 414 ½ Main Street has received word that her husband, Technical Sergeant Carlson, is missing in action since April 22 over Germany. He was first engineer and turret gunman on a B-12 plane. The couple have a 6-month old daughter, Sandra. Sergeant Carlson also has two sons, Courtney 9, and Jimmy 8, who live with their mother at 212 16th Street.
Sergeant Carlson is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Carlson, 413 W 18th Street. He enlisted in Sioux City in October, 1942, and was sent overseas in February of this year. His brother Leon lives in Minneapolis.
