Lawrence Elroy Cargill was born Aug. 6, 1922 to Clarence Elroy and Florence Rebecca Moore Cargill. He died May 8, 1944 and is buried in Tabor Cemetery, Tabor, IA.
Sgt. Cargill served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 44th Group, 66th Squadron and died of injuries sustained in an airplane accident in England.
