Charles Lee Campbell was born Mar. 27, 1920 to Everett Leo and Fern Mildred Lyons Campbell. He died Mar. 28, 1945 and is buried in Lorraine American Cemetery, St. Avold, France.
Sgt. Campbell served in World War II with the U.S. Army Co. F, 14th Infantry Regiment, 71st Infantry Division and was MIA/KIA in Germany. He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross and Purple Heart.
