Virgil Tipton Burley was born Nov. 29, 1908 to Albert Joseph and Amelia Ziegler Burley. He died June 4, 1973 and is buried in Memorial Gardens Cemetery and Mausoleum, Colorado Springs, CO.
Virgil served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 308th Bomb Group, 425th Bomb Squadron in the China-Burma-India Theater, 14th Air Force.
