Charles Leslie Burke was born Aug. 7, 1912 to Richard R. and Catherine L. Cody Burke. He died Mar. 19, 1944 and is buried in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Grand Junction, IA.
Pvt. Burke served in World War II with the U.S. Army 185th Field Artillery Battalion, 34th Infantry Division and died in Italy while serving his country.
