Ira A. Bogard was born Mar. 5, 1919 to Ira and Plonia Schippen Bogard. He died June 9, 1944 and memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines and in Avon Cemetery, Des Moines, IA.
Pvt. Bogard served in World War II with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and died in Burma while in the service of his country.
