Joseph John “Joe” Birchmier was born Dec. 11, 1922 to Albert Theophilus and Frances M. Backoff Birchmier. He died Sept. 15, 2017 and is buried in Saint James Cemetery, Colo, IA.
Joseph served in World War II with the U.S. Army in France and Germany.
