Raymond Earl Benn was born Sept. 19, 1923 to Ruben M. and Addie Gibson Benn. He died Nov. 14, 1993 and is buried in Gilbert Cemetery, Gilbert, IA.
Pvt. Benn served in World War II with the U.S. Army Infantry 398th Regiment, 100th Division and was awarded the Combat Infantryman’s Badge.
