Ward Weldon Beightol was born Dec. 17, 1922 to Ward and Grace E. Townsend Beightol. He died Nov. 8, 1996 and is buried in Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver, CO.
Maj. Beightol served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 50th Squadron, 314th Troop Carrier Group and 53rd Squadron 61st Troop Carrier Group European Air Transport Service. He also served in Korea and Vietnam.
