Marshall Cochran Baker was born June 23, 1922 to Eugene Ross and Edith Meek Baker. He died May 1, 1945 and is buried in Oakland Cemetery, Keokuk, IA.
Ens. Baker served in World War II with the U.S. Navy as co-pilot on U.S. Navy PB4Y-2 “Privateer” patrol bomber was a member of crew #4 of Squadron VPB-119 when his plane was shot down over Hainan Island China.
