Leonard Ellis Busing was born Jan. 25, 1901 to Ernest D. and Margaret A. Gerber Busing. He died Feb. 8, 1981 and is buried in Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver, CO.
Chief Busing served with the U.S. Navy in World War II aboard the USS YMS11.
