Elmer Charles Bulgren was born in 1922 to Archie and Francis Bulgren. He died in 1944 and is memorialized at the Courts of the Missing, Court 7, Honolulu Memorial, Honolulu, Hawaii and has a cenotaph in Oak Hill Cemetery, Fort Atkinson, IA.
Sgt. Bulgren served in World War II with the U.S. Army 715th Amphibious Tank Battalion and was MIA/KIA in Saipan and was awarded the Purple Heart.
