Pfc. Emil Bueltel returned Wednesday to his home here after spending some time in a hospital in Texas, after returning from overseas. He has been given a medical discharge.

Emil Bueltel was born Mar. 16, 1906 to Bernard Herman and Elizabeth Bohnencamp Bueltel. He died Aug. 10, 1983 and is buried in Saint Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Granville, IA.
Pvt. Bueltel served in World War II with the U.S. Army 34th and 6th Infantry Divisions.
