Eldon Ralph Boots was born Oct. 19, 1919 to Frederick Julius and Alta Fionna Moyer Boots. He died May 21, 1942 and is buried in Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines. He was first buried in the Gapan Municipal Cemetery in the Philippine Islands.
Pvt. Boots served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 20th Pursuit Squadron, 24th Pursuit Group and became a POW and died in the Philippine Islands while a prisoner of the Japanese.
