Ernie Max Blohm was born Nov. 24, 1917 to Friedrich “Fred" and Sophie Margaret Christiansen Blohm. He died May 24, 1944 and is buried in Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN.
Sgt. Blohm served in World War II with the U.S. Army Co. R, 191st Training Battalion and was MIA/KIA in Italy.
