Home on Furlough
Sgt. Marcus Blodgett, formerly of Williams, is home on furlough after spending 44 months overseas in the south Pacific. The sergeant was recently with the Seventh air force on Saipan. Sergeant Blodgett is visiting at the homes of his sisters, Mrs. Donald Rutledge of Parkersburg and Mrs. Everett Wolf of this city.

Marcus Sterling Blodgett was born in 1916 to Thomas E. and Jessie Blodgett.
Sgt. Blodgett served with the U.S. Army Air Corps with the 7th Air Force on Saipan.
