George Everett Blake was born May 5, 1924 to George Addis Butt and Velma D. Evers Butt/Blake. He died Apr. 16, 1945 and is buried in Oak Hill Cemetery, Cedar Rapids, IA.
Lt. Blake served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps Squadron B and was a bombardier instructor and died near Big Spring, TX in an airplane crash.
