Naval Aviation Cadet, Clair L. Blair has been transferred to Junction City, Colo., for further training after spending four months at Cornell College, Mount Vernon, Iowa. Private First Class Victor D. Blair, Jr., a brother, is spending a 21-day furlough with his parents. He is stationed in the general hospital at New Orleans, La. Charles Roy Blair, serving on a destroyer somewhere in the South Pacific, recently received a promotion to engineers mate third class. The three are the sons of Mr. and Mrs. V.D. Blair, 621 Wall Street.

Charles R. Blair, 1825 Ninth street; Robert J. Prescott, 3301 Third avenue, and Walter K. Hovde, 1108 10th street, recently received honorable discharges from the navy at the Minneapolis separation center.
