Eldon Clyde Bertilson was born Dec. 21, 1915 to Bert and Agnes Bertilson. He died Sept. 11, 1944 and is buried in Fairview Cemetery, Dows, IA.
Cpl. Bertilson served in Co. D, 168th Infantry Regiment, 34th Infantry in the U.S. Army in World War II. He was originally buried in the Florence American Cemetery, Florence, Italy and was awarded a Purple Heart.
