Lowell Frank Bentley was born Nov. 19, 1911 to William Elton and Clara Ellen Butler Bentley. He died July 22, 1997 and is buried in the Buffalo Township Cemetery, Titonka, IA. He entered the service while he was living in Woden, Hancock County, Iowa.
Lowell served with the U.S. Navy in World War II aboard the USS LST-535.
