Marlowe Benson from Camp Knox, Ky. is spending a furlough with his family in Sioux City and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Benson, of Sergeant Bluff.

Marlowe Keith Benson was born Aug. 27, 1912 to Archie D. and Maude Smith Benson. He died Oct. 3, 1962 and is buried in Memorial Park Cemetery, Sioux City, IA.
Pvt. Benson served in World War II with the U.S. Army 728th Military Police Company.
