James Herbert Beireis was born Feb. 16, 1916 to William G. and Aureal C. Beireis. He was KIA Apr. 18, 1945 in France. He is buried in the St. Avold Cemetery, Lorraine, France.
Sgt. Beireis served with the U.S. Army, 254th Infantry, 63rd Division in World War II and was awarded a Purple Heart.
