Nelson Adelbert “Nels” Austin was born Aug. 3, 1905. He died Aug. 15, 1942 at the Station Hospital, Fort MacArthur, San Pedro, CA and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Brainerd, MN.
Sgt. Austin served with the U.S. Army, Battery E, 19th Coast Artillery in World War II.
