James R. “Dick” Ashpole, Sr. was born June 12, 1915 to Earl W. and Agnes E. Redden Ashpole. He died Jan. 16, 2011 and is buried in Saint Johns Cemetery, Clarion, IA.
Dick served with the Army Air Corps in World War II.
