Ronald Clair Arbogast was born Aug. 3, 1911 to Alexander Ellsworth and Helen Josephine Martin Arbogast. He died Jan. 9, 1994 and is buried in Graceland Cemetery, Webster City, IA.
Ronald served with the U.S. Army in World War II and participated in the invasion of Normandy. He was a disabled Army veteran.

Ronald Arbogast, 82, of Washburn and a former Webster City resident, died Jan. 9, 1994 at Memorial Medical Center, Ashland, Wis. The body was cremated with memorial services and burial in Webster City at a later date.
Ronald Arbogast, son of Alexander and Helen (Martin) Arbogast was born Aug. 3, 1911 in Numa, Iowa. As a small child he moved with his family to Webster City where he attended school and was employed at Raven Body Shop. In 1937, he married Maxine Ribbey and they lived in Webster City and Clarinda. He served in the army from 1941-1945 and participated in the invasion of Normandy. He was a disabled Army veteran. After returning from the Army, he and his brother Lyle Arbogast were owners of the Seneca Market in Webster City. He and his family later operated a dairy farm in Wisconsin, he retired to Oregon, then moved back to Wisconsin.
Survivors include his wife, Maxine, son, John Arbogast, of Washburn, Wis., daughter, Janet Benson, also of Washburn, Wis.; granddaughter, Amber Cadotte, great-grandson, Gabriel Cadette, of Bayfield, Wis., sisters, Marguerite Wagner, of Duncombe, Iva Adams, of Coos Bay, Ore., sister-in-law, Margaret Arbogast of Webster City; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, infant twin sons, three brothers and a sister. The family address is 330 W. Omaha, Neb.
