Wilfred LeRoy “LeRoy” Apland was Aug. 5, 1899 to Anfin and Mary Urdahl Apland. He died in 1965 and is buried in Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery, Slater, IA.
LeRoy served in World War II with the U.S. Navy Pacific Fleet Amphibious Forces.
