Dilman R. Ankrum, 63, died in Livermore, California, Saturday, April 21. He had been in ill health for two years.

Dilman Raymond Ankrum, son of James Arthur and Lucy Lester Ankrum, was born March 3, 1916 in Hamilton county, Iowa. He was reared and educated in this community.

In 1934 he was united in marriage to Mable West. To this union five children were born: Mrs. Duane (Marlene) Segar of Webster City, Melford of Clinton, Okla., Mrs. Floyd (Nancy) Douglas and Mrs. Ronald (Marilyn) Morris of Livermore, Calif. and Ned Ankrum of Hayward, Calif.

In 1953 they moved to California which has since been their home.

He was a veteran of World War II.

He is survived by his children and also two brothers and one sister, Homer Ankrum, Lake Bluff, Ill., William Ankrum and Mrs. Dell (Mabel) Whaley of Webster City.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.
