Sylvester Joseph ‘Sy’ Angstrom was born Dec. 17, 1914 to Andrew and Ella Kurtz Angstrom. He died May 10, 1985 and is buried in Saint Mary's Cemetery, Shelbina, MO.
Sgt. Angstrom served with the U.S. Army in World War II in the Alaska area.
