Lyman Earland Anderson was born June 9, 1910 to Harry T. and Ella Albertina Hulquist Anderson. He died Feb. 2, 2004 and is buried in Mamre Cemetery, Stanton, IA.
Pvt. Anderson served in World War II with the U.S. Army 871st Aviation Engineers in New Guinea and the Philippine Islands and received the Philippine Liberation Ribbon with one star and Good Conduct Ribbon.
