Kenneth Burtram Amlund was born Dec. 1, 1913 to Gudmond and Julia Mathre Amlund. He died Aug. 2, 2013 and is buried in Story City Cemetery, Story City, IA.
Kenneth served in with the U.S. Army in World War II in the southwest Pacific theatre. After active duty he enlisted in the U.S. Army reserve where he retired as a Master Sergeant of the 103rd (Cactus Patch) Division Artillery.
