Warren Hacker Allen was born Jan. 17, 1921 to Francis Perry and Hattie Glenn Hacker Allen. He died Mar. 11, 1943 and is buried in Leon Cemetery, Leon, IA.
Sgt. Allen served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps and died when a medium bomber crashed north of Tampa, FL, while on a routine flight from MacDill Field, where he was stationed.
