Wesley Edwin “Wes” Alexander was born Dec. 17, 1921 to Lee W. and Stella Florence Christy Alexander. He died Jan. 20, 2010 and is buried in Nevada Municipal Cemetery, Nevada, IA.
Sgt. Alexander served in World War II with the U.S. Marine Corps in the South Pacific as a pilot mechanic.
