Woodrow Lee “Woody” Albers was born Apr. 4, 1913 to Bernard Edward and Christina Elizabeth Emmick Albers. He died Oct. 6, 1944 and is buried in Immanuel Cemetery, Lidderdale, IA.
Pvt. Albers served in World War II with the U.S. Army 3887th Quartermaster Truck Co. and died in service of his country as a result of drowning in a canal due to a vehicle accident.
