IN UNIFORM
T. Sgt. Donald Abker left and Thomas Abker, petty officer second class, sons of Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Abker, 1401 W. Sixth Street, met in Santa Ana, California after two and a half years separation. Sgt. Abker has just returned from England where he completed his missions as a radio gunner on a B-17 and is convalescing in the hospital at Santa Anna. Petty Officer Abker has been on duty in the Pacific and has returned there as a torpedo gunner on a Gruman Avenger plane.
Mr. and Mrs. Abker have received word that their eldest son, Pfc. William Abker has arrived safely somewhere in the south Pacific. He is an operating technician in the medical corps.
