IN UNIFORM
Cpl. Myron C. Abeel, whose wife, Mrs. Amanda G. Abeel, lives at 1413 Jones Street, is a member of the Eighth fighter command P-51 Mustang squadron which has been commended by Brig. Gen. Murray C. Woodbury, wing commander, for destroying more than 100 enemy planes in the first 100 combat missions, according to a news release from an Eighth fighter station in England.
