KILLED IN ACTION
Sgt. Bruce W. Wright of Reseda, Calif. was killed in action on Aug. 31, somewhere in France. A graduate of Thomas Jefferson high school in 1937, Sgt. Wright resided here until moving to California a short time thereafter.

Sgt. Bruce Wright
Funeral services for Sgt. Bruce Wright, 27, former resident of Council Bluffs, who was killed in action Aug. 31, 1944, in France, will be held in Inglewood, Calif., Saturday.
Sgt. Wright is survived by his mother, Mrs. F. C. Shark of Roseda, Calif.; his father, P. O. Wright of Pacoima, Calif; and three sisters, Mrs. K. Sager of West Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. F. E. Petty and Mrs. E. D. Kesterson, both of Van Nuys, Calif.
