RETURNS TO CAMP – Pvt. Jerry J. Williams has returned to Camp Mackall, N. C., after spending a furlough with his mother, Mrs. Edith Williams, 527 Damon street. Pvt. Williams, a paratrooper, had been in the service for one year.

Williams Rites Set for Friday
The body of Pfc. Jerry J. Williams, 21, 527 Damon street, who was killed in action in Luxemburg on Nov. 9, 1944, will arrive Friday afternoon in Council Bluffs.
He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, and is survived by his mother, Mrs. Edith Williams and a daughter, Jerry Williams, both of Council Bluffs.
Burial will be in Walnut Hill cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are pending. The Cutler funeral home is in charge.

OBITUARY
Pfc. Jerry Williams
Funeral services for Pfc. Jerry Williams, 21, 527 Damon street, will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Cutler funeral home. The Rev. Leon C. Hills will officiate.
A member of the 26th Division, Third Army Corps, Pfc. Williams was killed in action near Morville, France, during the Battle of the Bulge, on Nov. 9, 1944.
Graveside military rites will be held at Walnut Hill cemetery by the VFW.

Jerry Jerome Williams was born Sept. 9, 1923 to Glen and Edith Langstrom Williams. He died Nov. 9, 1944 and is buried in Walnut Hill Cemetery, Council Bluffs, IA. Pvt. Williams served with the U.S. Army in World War II.
