Local Man Dies Over Germany
Sgt. Robert L. Wilkinson, 34, died of serious wounds suffered over Germany March 17. Prior to his entry into the infantry in July, 1942, Wilkinson was employed by the Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance company. He went overseas in February, 1943.
Surviving are his widow, Ruth; one son, Richard Wayne at home; and his mother, Mrs. Frances Wilkinson of Glenwood.
