Home On Furlough

Lieut. Richard Whitehouse, who was awarded his wings, having received his commission June 23 at Luke field, Arizona, is home on furlough, visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. I.W. Whitehouse.

Lieut. Whitehouse entered the army service on June 4, 1940. He was transferred to duty in the air corps on December, 17, 1941, 10 days after the Japanese attack on the Pearl Harbor Naval Base.

At present his station is at Colorado Springs, Colorado.

IN UNIFORM

Lt. Richard K. Whitehouse, who recently returned from 18 months in Italy, north Africa and Sicily, has been assigned to be a test pilot at Wright field, Dayton, O., where he and his family now reside. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. I. W. Whitehouse, 1507 W. 17th street.
