IN UNIFORM
Herman Weinstein, son of Mr. and Mrs. I. Weinstein, 1901 Jones street, recently passed competitive examinations at the Jacksonville, Fla., naval air station and was advanced from aviation machinist’s mate third class to second class. The 22-year-old aircraft mechanic is attached to the assembly and repair department there. He enlisted in the Navy September 29, 1943.
