Pvt. William “Bill” Weifenbach expects to return to his duties at Camp Adair, Ore., Saturday after spending two weeks here with his wife and with relatives and friends.

William George Weifenbach was born Oct. 24, 1912 to Chris and Olga Anna Rosenlocher Weifenbach. He died Sept. 28, 1948 and is buried in Mount Hope Cemetery, Mapleton, IA.
William served with the U.S. Army in World War II.
