ROCK VALLEY:
Andy VanBoeyen has arrived in this country from New Guinea and expects to be in Rock Valley on Tuesday. He has been in the South Pacific for the past three years. His father Lambert VanBoeyen and his sister, Louise, are happy at the thought of his return.

Rock Valley Service Men
Andy VanBoeyen arrived home Monday bearing an honorable discharge from the Army. He had 86 points. Andy went into the service on October 1, 1941, and trained at Camp Roberts, Calif., and Fort Lewis, Wash. He left March 19, 1942, for the Pacific and served in Australia and New Guinea as cook and truck driver. He came back to the United States on rotation furlough November 20, 1944, after which he reported at Hot Springs, Ark. and was stationed at Ft. Leonard Wood before being discharged.
