SIOUX CITY BROTHERS ON SAME BOAT
Pictured above manning a 40-mm. antiaircraft gun are Wesley L. Tweet and his brother, Gilbert Tweet, who are both stationed aboard the same battleship in the Pacific. Wesley is pictured at the pointer, while Gilbert is behind him with his eyes in the target. Both boys became gunner’s mates after completing their boot training at Great Lakes, Ill. They entered the Navy in September 1942, They are the sons of Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Tweet, 603 Paxton street.
