Kenneth D. Speer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clayton E. Speer, 4005 Floyd Avenue; Lloyd E. Sease, son of Carl Sease, 406 S. Helen Street and John Melvin Thompson, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. Foster Thompson, 3259 Nebraska Street, have arrived at Carroll College, Waukesha, Wis., for basic army air force instruction.

IN UNIFORM
Lt. John M. Thompson and wife, the former Betty Jane Golden, arrived in the city Friday for a short visit with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Foster Thompson, 3259 Nebraska street, and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Golden, 1623 21st street. Lt. Thompson is serving as pilot on a B-29, and has been stationed at Alamogordo, N. M. He has been transferred to the station at Salina, Kan., and will report there Monday. His wife, who was with him at Alamogordo, will accompany him to his new post.
