HOME ON FURLOUGH
Merlyn Thiele GM 3/c, has completed his course at the electric hydraulic school
at the Destroyer Base in San Diego, and is expected here this week for a short
furlough.

Merlyn Eugene Thiele was born Dec. 28, 1920 to Walter George and Mabel Lillian White Thiele. He died Aug. 16, 1991 and is buried in Postville Cemetery, Postville, IA.
