Son’s Purple Heart to Algona Parents
Wesley: Mr. and Mrs. Henry Sherman of Algona, former Wesley residents, have received the Purple Heart awarded their son, Donald, who was wounded in France. He has recovered and is again in service in England in the Quartermaster Corps. Another son, Pfc. Duane Sherman, was lately graduated from the Army air forces gunnery school at Laredo, Texas.
