Earl Sheets, son of Mr. and Mrs. G.M. Reisdorph, 2505 Grand Street has been graduated from the armament school, Lowry field, Colorado. He was graduated from East High School in 1940 and received basic training at Miami Beach, Florida.

EARL SHEETS WAR CASUALTY
Tailgunner on Bomber Wounded in Europe, on 60 Missions
S. Sgt. Earl B. Sheets, 22, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Reisdorph, 1616 W. 16th street, has been wounded in action in the European theater, his parents have been notified by the War Department. S. Sgt. Sheets was a tail gunner on a B-26 and up to January 3 had a record of 60 missions.
A graduate of East high school, he attended gunnery school at Miami Beach, Fla., and was graduated from the gunnery school at Tyndall field, Panama City, Fla. From there he went to the armory school at Denver and was graduated as a bombardier.
About January 1, 1944, S. Sgt. Sheets went to Sardinia and after several months’ service thee was stationed at Corsica. About December 1, 1944, he was sent to France.
